Jonathan Hefter

I have been active with soul-based ritual work since 1998. In studying rites of passage work, I have participated in Vision Fast ceremonies with the School of Lost Borders in Big Pine, California, and serve on staff with Jeffrey Duvall of The Men’s Leadership Alliance in Eldora, Colorado. In 2003 I completed MLA’s Leadership Training Program in Sapphire Canyon, Colorado, and have served several times as a Guide with The Berkshire Men’s Circle. I co-lead the Northeast Men's Alliance's semi-annual Spirit Camp weekend in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts.

I am a registered officiant with the City of New York, and a trained Life and Career Coach. I am a Founding Member of Circles (https://www.circl.es), a peer learning experience consultancy where I serve as Head Guide and Program Lead.

As a poet and writer, I will work with you to craft a ceremony that reaches across all faiths, focusing the words of your ceremony towards the intention of your commitment. Deeply rooted in community, passion, and spirit, I offer an inclusive and joyful presence for your wedding celebration! My wife Kathryn, two daughters and I live in Saratoga Springs, NY.
